An Overton man was arrested in connection with a Raney Street shooting in early August after police matched shell casings found at both the crime scene and in the man’s car to the same gun, according to an arrest warrant.
Traymon Lamarius Davis, 25, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with bond set at $100,000. He remained in the Gregg County Jail on Wednesday. Longview police arrested Davis on Friday evening in the 800 block of East Marshall Avenue.
