A 26-year-old Gilmer man was arrested Monday night for aggravated robbery in Tyler.
The Tyler Police Department said the suspect, Jason Adams, robbed the Texaco at 2700 E. Fifth St.
Tyler police responded to a call about 8:34 p.m. Monday, advising that a white male suspect wearing blue latex gloves and a hospital mask had just robbed the Texaco.
The suspect left driving a white Toyota Tundra. Witnesses saw the vehicle leave and followed it until officers reached the area.
Officers initiated a traffic stop at the Valero station at 1301 WSW Loop 323 and made the arrest. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of gloves, a mask and what was determined to be two toy handguns.
