Cinnaholic in Tyler permanently closed Sunday, the owner said in a Facebook post.

Jessica Gandy was a frequent and loyal customer before owning the gourmet cinnamon roll business located at The Village in Cumberland Park.

Located at 8934 South Broadway Avenue, Suite 420, the store will had its final day of business Sunday, closing at 8 p.m.

Gandy said in a Facebook post that the closure comes after the recent death of her son. She announces the news with a heavy heart and said the decision was a difficult one to make.

“We started this adventure together and it’s too hard for me to continue without him,” she said. “This has been an incredibly challenging time for me and my family, and I need to take a step back to focus on healing and support.”

She expressed her “deepest gratitude for the community’s support and understanding during this time. I appreciate all the relationships we’ve built and the experiences we’ve shared over the past year,” she said. “Thank you for everything. Truly. Your support has meant the world to me.”

In February 2023, the original store owners announced it would permanently close, citing location problems. Gandy took over and reopened the shop in September 2023. The store celebrated its one-year anniversary earlier this month.
