Business Notes: Patterson returns to Tyler, Which Wich to open 2nd store, Polikretis named executive director

Cody Patterson began serving in a supervisory role at Henry & Peters PC on Dec. 2.

Patterson comes to Tyler from PricewaterhouseCoopers out of Dallas, where she served as assurance associate and an audit senior since January 2015.



She obtained her Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting at the University of Texas at Tyler. She also earned her CPA license in December 2018.

Second Which Wich to open

The second Tyler Which Wich, owned by Stephen and Shelby Wagner, is scheduled to open Dec. 16 at 5868 Old Jacksonville Highway.

This is the third Which Wich location for the couple, who opened their first Tyler Which Wich in 2018 and took over a location in Lufkin in 2018.

The second Which Wich is in the Grande Commons shopping center and will be co-branded with the gelato shop, Paciugo Gelato Caffe.

Store hours will be 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Executive director named for Texas Forest Trail Region

Del Polikretis has been named executive director of the Texas Forest Trail Region and will serve as the program’s contact from the Nacogdoches-based office, as well as a satellite office in Marshall.

The Forest Trail Region is part of the Texas Historical Commission’s Texas Heritage Trails Program, a regional tourism initiative that helps Texas communities promote tourism, revitalize local economies and foster community leadership through historic preservation.

“The opportunity to work for and foster economic development in East Texas is something I am extremely enthusiastic about. Its back roads, pine forests, attractions and people make this region distinct and memorable,” Polikretis said.

Austin Bank employees honored

Austin Bank recently honored employees for outstanding work and years of service with the company.

They were recognized at the bank’s 2019 Service Award Luncheon held recently at Willow Brook Country Club in Tyler.

Brenda Williams, senior vice president, senior compliance officer/project manger working in Whitehouse. Williams and her husband, Terry, live in Bullard and have one son and two grandsons.

20 years

Patty Steelman, executive vice president/director of marketing, is a certified financial marketing professional. Steelman lives in Tyler and is a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She has one daughter and one grandson.

15 years

Tamara Cox, assistant vice president/retail office manager, currently overseeing operations at the Tyler South office. She and her husband, Richard, have two sons, Zachary and Eric.

Wayne Golden, relationship manager, is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School, Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M-Texarkana. A resident of Tyler, Golden is a volunteer with Hospice of East Texas.

Emily Lopez, real estate processor in Whitehouse. Lopez and her husband, Mario, live in Tyler with their son, Ezra.

Laverne Pringle, teller operations supervisor, works in the Tyler Cumberland Park office. Pringle and her husband, Crystapher, live in Tyler with their son, Crystian.

Gay Smith, senior vice president/relationship manager, works as a commercial and consumer lender in the Tyler Cumberland Park office. She and her husband, Scotty, are residents of Whitehouse and share three children.

Debbie Finley, customer service representative in the Tyler office. A resident of Tyler, she serves with the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary and is a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Todd Coates works as vice president and financial adviser for AB Financial Services in the Cumberland Park office. He and his wife, Valerie, and daughters, Claire and Caroline, live in Tyler.

Rossie Mireles is a senior credit analyst working in the Tyler Cumberland Park office. A resident of Jacksonville, Mireles is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Imelda Moscaira, HMDA assistant, works in the bank’s Whitehouse annex. Moscaira and her son live in Tyler.
