Grassroots America hosts panel on border security, election integrity, and more

On Tuesday, June 24, Grassroots America will present what organizers are calling a “Straight Talk – No Bull” report on the successes and failures of the Republican Party of Texas legislative priorities in the 89th Texas Legislature, which concluded on June 2.

The event will feature facilitated panels on key topics, including border security, election security, electric grid security, energy independence, ending ESG, protecting children, state spending and corporate welfare.

Policy experts will include Lt. Col. Allen West (Ret.), former U.S. Border Patrol agent Ammon Blair, Texas Policy Research president Jeramy Kitchen, Energy Alliance policy director Bill Peacock, Texas Eagle Forum president Cindi Castilla, American Energy Works state director Molly Vogt, Senate District 1 GOP Executive Committee member Christin Bentley, True Texas Elections founder Dr. Laura Pressley and Capital Area Conservative Republicans founder Marcia Watson.



The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Convention Center, located on 5701 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler. There is a $12 fee for a buffet dinner and opens at 5 p.m. The workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude at 9 p.m.

There is no fee needed to attend, and registration and membership are not required. The group encourages dining to help support local business and jobs.
