The Tyler Municipal Court announced its participation in a “Warrant Special” for Monday through July 13 to help bring closure to unresolved warrants.

Any person paying their warrants in full will have the warrant fees removed, which could be a savings of up to $50 per warrant, according to a city news release. The special price does not apply if the person was already contacted or is in custody by the city marshals or police or people appearing before the judge.

“Past sweeps have been very effective in helping us clear several thousand warrants in a matter of a few days,” Court Administrator Cam McCabe said. “We want to get people back on their feet by helping them eliminate their warrants.”

Those wanting to take advantage of this “Warrant Special” must contact the Court at 903-531-1266 or come by 813 N. Broadway Ave. from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The municipal court will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 13 to take last-minute payments.
