Upper level high pressure continues to build across the South Plains from the Desert Southwest. That means hot, dry weather is here to stay for awhile which is our normal summertime pattern. There is not much hope for showers or thunderstorms in East Texas other than what might ride the sea breeze front inland during the afternoon and dissipate as the sun sets, or what might develop along the periphery of the high.
