There have been several business closures, as well as new openings and expansions, in the Tyler area so far in February.

Crema Coffee Co.
Crema Coffee Co. is set to open its second location in downtown Tyler on Wednesday. The new shop will be located at 110 N. College Ave., Suite 103, in the Plaza Tower.
The expansion comes three years after the family-owned coffee shop opened its first location, at 2251 Three Lakes Parkway Suite 107, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The downtown location will offer the same menu and services as the original shop while integrating into the existing business community.
Hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Regal Tyler Rose Theater
The Regal Tyler Rose theater, located at 1250 S SW Loop 323 SW, has permanently closed. Workers confirmed the closure took place on Thursday, Feb. 6.
The closure follows the Tyler City Council’s approval of a zoning change in December, allowing the theater space to be converted into office and clinic space for Bethesda Health Clinic.
Namaste Tyler Indian Restaurant
Namaste Tyler Indian Restaurant, located at 2301 S Broadway Ave, Suite A4 in Tyler, will soon announce its grand opening.

Glo, a national skincare, tanning, and wellness franchise, is set to open a new location in Tyler on March 8.
The business will be located at 1501 W. Southwest Loop 323. Glo offers a variety of technology-based wellness and skincare treatments, including red light therapy, hydro-massage, and full-body rejuvenation services. The company has expanded to more than 100 locations nationwide and aims to provide a high-end spa experience focused on skincare and relaxation.

Big Lots is closing two locations in Tyler: 1421 S. Beckham Ave. and 4400 S. Broadway Ave. Both stores will remain open until everything is gone or until the end of the month.
Customers can take advantage of storewide discounts, including 30% off upholstery and 40% off all other furniture, including mattresses and box springs. All items in-store are at least 30% off.
