Bass Pro Shops will host a two-day hiring event for its new Outpost location in Tyler.

The retailer is seeking to fill more than 130 full-time and part-time positions.

The event will take place at the Conference Center at the Tyler Holiday Inn, 5701 South Broadway, on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bass Pro Shops is looking for individuals with a passion for the outdoors to join its team across all departments. On-site interviews will be conducted during the event.

Applicants are encouraged to apply in advance by visiting basspro.com/careers and selecting the Tyler location.

Bass Pro Shops announced in July 2024 that it would open a new destination retail location in Tyler. The store will offer outdoor gear and clothing for activities like hiking, camping, wildlife viewing, fishing, and hunting. It will also feature aquariums, wildlife dioramas, and seasonal experiences for families.

Construction is ongoing, and a grand opening date will be announced soon.
