Get out the vote event coming up

Grassroots America and the Smith County Republican Party will co-host a “Stampede the Vote” event on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Tyler.

The last day to register to vote in the Nov. 5 General Election is Oct. 7. Early voting begins Oct. 21 and runs through Nov. 1.

The event will offer an opportunity to meet Republican candidates, register to vote, train on voter turnout techniques, and purchase Donald Trump campaign signs and MAGA gear.

Refreshments will be served at the event, set from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Smith County Republican Headquarters, 3923 S Broadway Avenue in Tyler

There is no cost to attend and membership is not required.
