Disrespectful display
Every year I look forward to seeing the Christmas decorations and tour of the White House (the People’s House) in Washington D.C.
This was the most disgraceful and disrespectful display I’ve ever seen in my 88 years on this earth. It would be useless for me to give my opinion to the dummies in Washington, because they don’t know any better.
We respect our White House and the laws enacted there and we expect all these in charge to do the same.
No wonder we are the laughing stock in the world now if we don’t have any more taste than this.

Adopt, don’t shop
This holiday season, we are thankful for the 18 cities across Texas that have enacted ordinances that stop retail pet sales of commercially bred kittens and puppies, encouraging Texans to adopt, not shop. By adopting a pet from your local shelter or rescue, you will free up space for another homeless animal to have the opportunity to find a forever home and relieve the pressure on local shelters and rescues. Plus, shelter animals are already behavior-evaluated, vaccinated, treated for parasites, tested for life-threatening diseases, and micro-chipped. Adopt, don’t shop!
