All Saints wins Jacksonville golf tournament

JACKSONVILLE — The All Saints Trojans captured their second tourney of the season by winning the Jacksonville Indian Golf Classic Thursday on The Challenge at the Woods course.
The Trojans, led by runner-up medalist Luke Haberle’s 76, won with a team total of 320. Jacksonville was second at 328 with Brook Hill third at 332.
Hunter Shattuck of Brook Hill won medalist honors with a 75, one stroke ahead of Haberle. Mason Busbee of Lufkin Hudson was third at 78. All Saints’ Jackson Smith, along with Jacksonville teammates Cameron Brown and Trent Sansom tied for fourth at 79.
Others on the All Saints squad were Trevor Long (81), Andrew Bloch (85) and Charlie Cullen (96).
Ryan Breedlove led Bishop Gorman with an 84.
Eleven teams were entered in the tournament.
Other Jacksonville team members were Robert Mobley (85), Cash Cleaver (85) and Cade Cessna (102).
The Brook Hill squad also included Matt Webb (83), Travis King (85), Jeffrey Yeager (89) and Austin Savage (95).
Lufkin Hudson won the girls event with a 408, followed by Fairfield (438) and Livingston (480).
Nacogdoches’ Madison Harris was medalist with an 84, followed by Lauren Johnson of Lufkin Hudson with an 86.
