The upper low over New Mexico will continue moving slowly east. This system will give us our next best chance of rain mainly Monday and Monday night. Until then, winds will continue light and from the south. Expect mostly cloudy skies with periods of sun providing a warm afternoon with temperatures rising to near 80. On Monday, with the system nearing our region, showers and thunderstorm chances will be increasing.

The slow movement of the system could provide locally heavy rainfall Tuesday afternoon and night. A weak cold front will move across the area Monday night bringing an end to the rain for Tuesday. Temperatures will stay spring like through the week and will generally be near 60 at night and low 80’s during the day.
