White Oak moves to 4-0

TENAHA – Cade Palmer passed for 217 yards and three touchdowns, and the White Oak Roughnecks moved to 4-0 with a 34-10 win over Tenaha on Friday night.

The Roughnecks built a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on a 74-yard touchdown pass from Palmer to Dax Davis and a 19-yard scoring strike from Palmer to Heath Hood.



In the second, Hood threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Davis for a 21-0 Roughneck lead, and Arthur Nakai booted a 41-yard field goal for a 24-0 cushion.

Tenaha’s Abel Rodriguez kicked an 18-yard field goal with one second remaining as the Roughnecks took a 24-3 lead at the break.

Tenaha scored on a 53-yard touchdown pass from C.J. Horn to Jay Lloyd, but Nakai booted a 48-yard field goal and Connor Hearron finished the scoring when he caught a 42-yard TD pass from Palmer.

Hearron finished with 53 receiving yards and 67 rushing yards. Swade Smith paced the defense with five tackles for loss, and also had 58 receiving yards.
