Wills Point's netters and coaches at state tournament in College Station.

COLLEGE STATION — Two Wills Point doubles teams will be playing for a state tennis championship on Friday.

The boys doubles team of Kash Adams and Chase Daniell and the girls doubles team of Maddie Booth and Claire Hiler won two matches on Thursday in the UIL Class 4A State Tennis Tournament at Texas A&M’s George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.

Adams and Daniell will meet the Pampa team of Jace Ware and Adam Grocholski in the championship match at 10 a.m. Friday at Texas A&M’s George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.

The Tiger twosome won their quarterfinals match with ease — 6-1, 6-3 over Blake Boubel and Noah DeLeon of Fredericksburg, 6-1, 6-3.

However, the semifinal match was a tough one.
