Bishop Gorman 75, Marshall 32
MARSHALL — Michelle Obach poured in 30 points in her first game since committing to Merrimack College as Bishop Gorman crushed Marshall 75-32 in their season opener Tuesday.
Brooke Lee, in her first game as a starter after coming off the bench last year, scored 17 for the Lady Crusaders, who led 40-15 at halftime. Danielle Smith added 12 for Gorman, which hosts Houston Lutheran Heights on Saturday before taking on another Class 4A foe, John Tyler, on Monday at the Lions Den.

BULLARD — With a strong first half, Bullard defeated Grace Community 54-30 in the season opener for both teams Tuesday.
The Lady Panthers led 31-9 at halftime and held a 21-6 advantage in the second quarter.
Catherine Rook and Megan Raborar scored nine points apiece to pace the Lady Cougars, who head to San Antonio for the first of four tournaments on Thursday.
Bullard hit on 22 of 44 shots, including 5 for 10 from long range, while holding Grace to 26 percent shooting.
