JOHN TYLER 10, MARSHALL 0

MARSHALL — John Tyler won its third straight District 16-5A soccer match with a 10-0 victory over Marshall on a cold and rainy night at Maverick Stadium.

Johnathan Sosa and Victor Leon led the way with hat tricks. Adan Delgado had two goals with Leo Arteaga and Jacob Olivares adding a goal each.

Both goalkeepers, Arturo Hernandez and Paulino Ruiz had time in the net for the clean sheet.

JT (9-7) improves to 3-1 in district.

The Lions, after two straight road games, plays host to Nacogdoches at 7:15 p.m. Friday at the JT Field.

Marshall (0-4) travels to Longview on Friday to face Pine Tree.

ROCKWALL 1, TYLER LEE 0

Rockwall scored with 17 seconds left on the clock to down Tyler Lee 1-0 in a District 11-6A soccer match at REL Field.

Lee returns to play on Friday at Longview.

BULLARD 4, VAN 1

BULLARD — The Bullard Panthers captured a 4-1 win over Van on Tuesday in a District 14-4A soccer match at Panther Stadium.

The game was called after five minutes into the second half due to weather conditions.

Scorers for Bullard were Alex Flor, Caden Key and Christian Wimmer. Assists were from Flor, Landon Jackson and Ivan Ruiz.
