Lone Star Speedway near Kilgore will be taken over by car-crushing trucks on Saturday when it hosts the Monster Truck Fall Nationals at 7:30 p.m.

This competition will feature Big Foot, The Stinger, Fatal Attraction, Ground Pounder and Amsoil Shock Therapy, according to promotional material.

Big Foot will be on display at ABC Auto Parts on Loop 281 in Longview from 3 to 6 p.m. today. Stinger will be at Boot Barn on Gilmer Road in Longview from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and Shock Therapy will be on view at Boot Barn on Broadway Avenue in Tyler from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Gates open at 5 p.m.; the band Westbound 21 will perform from 6 to 7:15 p.m.; and the monster trucks begin racing at 7:30 p.m. The show also will include freestyle motorcycle stunt exhibitions, as featured on X Games .

All tickets are general admission. Tickets at the gate cost $30 for adults and $15 for children. It is recommended that younger children wear earplugs.

The White Oak Education Foundation is hosting the event. Proceeds will benefit the White Oak schools.
