Kilgore College to host Piano Concerto

Kilgore College Fine Arts Department will present its annual Piano Concerto at 3 p.m. Sunday in Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore campus, the college announced.

Sophomore piano students will play solo pieces accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by Dr. Gene Moon.



Featured performers include: Seth Briley, Longview; Brittany Crowe, Longview; Corey Daniels, Henderson; Melodi King, Longview; Alan Zamarron, Gilmer; and Dean Peiskee, a former KC piano student who is a doctoral student at Florida State University, according to the announcement.

The concert is free and open to the public.  No children younger than 6 will be permitted to enter.
