Health fair set Tuesday at TISD Instructional Complex

A health fair sponsored by Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System and Smith County Retired Teachers Association is scheduled from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Tyler ISD’s Plyler Instructional Complex, 807 W. Glenwood Blvd.

Stations will include a health scan for osteoporosis detection, blood pressure check, body mass index check and a demonstration of how CPR is administered, according to the event announcement.



There also will be information on health issues seniors face.

Attendees are asked to bring a new or gently used children’s book for the Remember the Children’s Book Project or make a donation for a new one.
