Willow Bay Boutique opened in the fall of 2022.

A local store is closing its doors.

Willow Bay Boutique announced via social media that it will close its business in Tyler.

The boutique owner announced she has made the “difficult decision” to close. The store, located at 6724 Paluxy Drive, opened in fall of 2022.

“I can’t even begin to express the amount of gratitude I have,” Owner Chrissi McMullen said in the post. “To my family- we embarked on this adventure together and although it’s not the ending we hoped for, I’m so thankful for all your hard work to help me bring everything I was thinking to life, for your support, heavy lifting, tech brains and logic to balance me. To my friends- you have been by me, with me and supported me through it all. I love each and every one you!”

McMullen also had a message for patrons.

“To my community- many of you embraced, showed up and supported me from day 1. I’m so grateful for each and every customer. Whether far or near, day one or last day, thank you,” she said. “Some of you have become friends, and if that’s what I get to take from this, then I call that a WIN!”

Willow Bay will remain open until all its merchandise is sold, according to the post. The store is offering a 70% off sale with all purchases made final.

The boutique sells clothing, jewelry, home décor, gifts, and more.
