East Texas girls earn all-state, all-region recognition from TABC

Several East Texas girls basketball players received recognition from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
Canton senior Allison Rickman, a University of North Texas signee, earned all-state honors in Class 4A.
Earning all-state honors for Class 3A girls were Winnsboro’s Hadlee Brown and Kaitlyn McAdoo.
Earning all-state honors for Class 2A girls were Martin’s Mill’s Kara Nixon, McKenna Wise and Ruthie Mein; Douglass’ Tiara Neal; Chireno’s Madison Garner; and Lovelady’s Lexi Price.
Class 1A all-state selections were Neches’ Sealy Hines; and Broaddus’ Caelyn Williams and Jalia Mitchell.
Brook Hill’s Indeya Williams was an all-state pick by the TABC for large private schools.
All-state picks for small private schools were Athens Christian’s Kiley Normandin; Longview St. Mary’s’ Hira Khan and Daisy Rodriguez; and Longview Christian Heritage’s Reid Robertson and Allison Wilson.
Tyler Legacy’s Senoj Jones was an all-region pick for Class 6A Region 2, and Tyler High’s Kalyse Buffin and Jacksonville’s Tia Fuller were selected in Class 5A Region 2.
Rickman was an all-region selection in Class 4A Region 2 and was joined by Canton teammate Chloe Howe, Mabank’s Honey Aldridge and Jayda Searcy, Pittsburg’s Randieunna Jeffery and Carthage’s Kaylen Igbokwe. All-region selections in Class 4A Region 3 were Bullard’s Lila Robertson and Palestine’s Sydney Hughes.
Selections in Class 3A Region 2 were Winnsboro’s Brown and McAdoo, along with teammate Payton Green; Malakoff’s Hillary Dawson, Mineola’s Kyra Jackson, Rains’ Jazzy Phillips, Tatum’s Kamdyn Scott, Quitman’s Kaylin Sapp, Mount Vernon’s Olivia Baird and Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill’s Brooklyn Buchanan. Pollok Central’s Mya Turney was selected in Class 3A Region 3.
Martin’s Mill’s Nixon, Wise and Mein were all selected in Class 2A Region 3, along with teammate Alli Vaughan. Also selected in the region were LaPoynor’s Savannah Reynolds; Hawkin’s Taetum Smith and Alaya Scoggins; Union Grove’s Taylor Campbell; Frankston’s Wila Davis; Tenaha’s Kaedynce Cox; Fruitvale’s Reyli Rubio; Chireno’s Garner; Lovelady’s Price; and Douglass’ Neal and Tessa Reeves.
Neches’ Hines was joined by teammates Joely Jenkins and Aubrey Kincade on the Class 1A Region 3 team. In Class 1A Region 4 were Broaddus’ Williams, Mitchell, Macie Cook and Kaylynn Quinney and Zavalla’s Emma Rye and Kenzie Shives.
