CARROLLTON — Bullard Brook Hill, led at the plate and in the circle by Taylor Schultz, scored a 22-2 win over Carrollton Prince of Peace in a TAPPS District 2-4A softball game on Friday.

The Lady Guard (11-1-1, 3-0) travels to Mesquite to meet Dallas Christian at 5 p.m. Monday.

Schultz had five RBIs on three hits, which included a double and triple. She pitched 2/3 of an inning and did not allow an earned run.

Lexi Crenshaw got the win in the circle by hurling two innings, while striking out four.

Some of the key hits in the first inning were a two-run single by Crenshaw and a two-run triple by AD Kuechle.

In the second inning, the hits included two two-run doubles by Schultz, two-run double by Kuechle, RBI double by Alyssa Duplichain, two-run single by Myles Inglish and an RBI single by Cassie Cannon.
