Dorsey, Brook Hill stay hot

RICHARDSON — Gunnar Dorsey ran for 212 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bullard Brook Hill Guard to a 62-7 win over Dallas Shelton in a TAPPS Division III, District 2 win on Friday.

Dorsey carried the ball only nine times, but scored on runs of 35, 48, 38 and 71 yards.



Brook Hill (6-3, 4-0) jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead. The Guard’s first score came on a 27-yard pass from Will Weathers to Garrett Moore. That was followed by Dorsey’s first two scoring runs.

The Guard ran up a 48-0 lead at halftime on a 4-yard run by Weathers, a 2-yard scoring pass to Moore, Dorsey’s 38-yard scoring carry and a 7-yard run for a touchdown by Travis Pirtle.

Shelton (5-4, 2-2), which entered the game tied for second, scored its only touchdown in the third quarter on a 50-yard scoring pass.
