Jewelev jewelry store on West Erwin Street is a local jeweler with unique gift options.

Popular jewelry store Jewelev is marking its two-year anniversary with a huge community celebration this weekend.

The previously online-only business opened its brick and mortar on Sept. 25, 2021 and specializes in Sterling Silver 925, working directly with Mexican artisans to bring authentic designs with great quality, according to owner Lourdes Esparza.

Esparza said the past two years have been wonderful and many customers have turned into friends.

“It has been a very nice experience to get to know customers that have since turned into friends,” she said. “We love our customer-friend relationships.”

Esparza said the celebration will include several vendors and other small, local businesses — something she believes is important to support others.

“We always like to celebrate along with other local business in town which is the reason we always allow some vendors in our events,” she said. “If we support our community at the same time than we all support each other.”

“We believe in creating teams to network, more people is better than just one person,” Esparza continued. “When you team up with others, amazing things happen for all.”

Esparza went on to express the importance of celebration small business anniversaries saying they are the heart of a town.

“Celebrating a local store anniversary I believe is important, because local stores are the heart of a town,” she said. “We have people that sometimes drive an hour or more to come to our store – that is a blessing. With your support we can keep local stores open.”

Jewelev carries a wide selection of Sterling Silver 925 jewelry such including chains, pendants, bracelets, charms, earrings, anklets, and cuffs.

Esparza said the store also proudly carries several authentic gem stones.

“Also, we are proud to bring authentic natural stones such as Turquoise, Onyx, Quartz, Coral, Amethyst, Jasper, Agate and many more,” she said.

The celebration will take place Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 907 West Erwin Street, Suite C in Tyler at the corner of Palace and Erwin.

Vendors include Cute Thangz by Les, Shades, Tamesa Tasty Treats, Lou’s Rose Red, NJ Beverage Services, and Southern Expression Candle Co.

Body Works by Yarely and Elegant Art of Nails will also be at the event.

There will also be free food and giveaways.

Esparza said she is excited for the celebration and believes the love for what she does has helped the success of her business.

“The love for what we do is what we believe has been the key to our local store,” she said. “For us it is never work — it’s always a pleasure to help out.”
