The recently opened Ohayo Sushi restaurant will hold its ribbon cutting on Monday, hosted by the Tyler Chamber of Commerce. The already-popular all-you-can-eat buffet opened its doors last month in the building that housed Traditions Restaurant.

Those attending the ribbon cutting will be treated to a lunch discount for the special occasion. Attendees will need to let the restaurant know they are attending on behalf of the Tyler Chamber to receive a discount.

The restaurant offers appetizers including harumaki, gyoza, lettuce wraps, edamame and more. There is also soup and salad. The menu includes sushi or sashimi, rolls or handrolls, hibachi, and specialty rolls. The restaurant also has dessert items.

The dinner cost is $31.95 per person for all-you-can-eat items with a soft drink included. The dinner cost for kids 4 to 10 is $16.95 with a drink included. To encourage less waste, the restaurant has a policy in which leftovers, uneaten or food packed to-go will be an extra charge, according to the menu.

The ribbon cutting will take place on Monday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.
