TYLER — Dora Ann Phillips was born in Farmersville, Texas on June 30,1932 and passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on February 11, 2025 in Tyler, Texas. She was a member of Arp Emmanuel Baptist Church and of Eastern Star. Dora Ann was a homemaker, and in her younger years she enjoyed singing in the church choir and to embroider. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James Glenn Phillips; parents TJ and Effie Foster Campbell; brothers James Campbell, Trilby Campbell, and Tommy Campbell. She is survived by children James Glenn Phillips (Linda) of Longview, Angie Haynes (John) of Tyler and Karen Lips (Paul) of Waxahachie; grandchildren Lindsay Gursky (Mark) of Pennsylvania, Brandon Phillips (Danni) of White Oak, and Janet Hardy (Waylen) of Bullard; great grandchildren Hadleigh Phillips, Luke Gursky, and Casey Gursky; sister Debbie Narramore. The family would like to thank the administrators and staff of Greenbrier Nursing Center of Tyler for their special care of Dora Ann during the past two years. A graveside service will be held on February 24 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Arp.
