Now, Miller will join the UT Tyler softball program as she signed on Wednesday afternoon.
“They have a great program,” Miller said. “They just won the national championship this past year. I love the coaches, Coach (Mike) Reed and Coach (Whitney) Wyly. They make it feel like home and especially with Coach (Anthony) Springer being my high school coach. It’s close to home and my family will be able to attend when I play.”
Springer is an assistant coach at UT Tyler as well.
Miller went 12-3 last season with a 0.95 ERA. She struck out 184 batters with just 24 walks. At the plate, Miller hit .510 with four home runs, 25 RBIs, six doubles and a triple.
Miller said she is undecided on her major.
