Anistyn Foster, Bullard

WHAT HER COACH SAID

Anistyn is a four-year varsity letterman for Bullard softball and has helped lead us through three very special seasons in her career so far. As both a freshman and sophomore, Anistyn shouldered the pitching responsibilities in our biggest games of the season. As a junior, Anistyn was involved in a horrific car accident and suffered a broken wrist on her pitching arm. She underwent surgery and had to have a metal plate put into her wrist to help it heal. She went to work (mentally, physically and emotionally) to restore herself as a pitcher to our roster last year and we were proud to see her pitch again late in our season. Her work ethic has been impeccable and we couldn’t be more proud of her setback truly telling a story of a major comeback for our program. As a senior, Anistyn had the plate removed and is off to a great start of leading a younger team through a tough preseason schedule. She is showing maturity and a great team first mindset as a senior, and we can’t wait to see where her softball story leads her next. Last summer, Anistyn volunteered at Clara Springs church camp in Louisiana to serve kids and then she also went to Glorieta, New Mexico, with her church to heal, serve and help clean up parks in the city.
