• The Grassroots America- We The People candidate forum is rescheduled for 6:45 p.m. Jan. 22 at Love and War in Texas, 114 E. Northeast S. in Lindale. Anyone wanting to eat before the forum should arrive between 5:30  and 6 p.m. Candidates include those running for District Clerk and Justice of the Peace Precinct 5. 
• The East Texas State Fair Academic Rodeo events are rescheduled to Friday, Jan. 19. Contest times will remain unchanged.
• Whitehouse ISD’s mens and women’s soccer games for Tuesday night are been canceled.
