The high pressure ridge aloft centered over Kansas and Nebraska will keep East Texas weather hot and dry this week. High temperatures will reach the upper 90s with a few 100 degree readings possible. Winds will be south to southeast 10 to 15 mph. The ridge is expected to move to the west this weekend and allow a cold front to slip into our area from the northeast. The front will bring with it a slight chance of rain Friday night and Saturday.
