Teresa Vitale (nee Rash), age 56, of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away at home on October 30, 2018. Beloved wife of Tom Vitale. Mother of Andrew, Laura, and Matthew Vitale. Sister of Jeffery (Carolyn) Rash. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Teresa had a career as a Registered Nurse, working mainly in the operating room at several hospitals in the Philadelphia area, as well as in her home state of Texas. She spent her lifetime caring for not only for her family, but in the service of others. Nursing was one of the greatest loves of her life. She started as a candy striper at local hospital in Tyler, TX at the age of 13 which then grew into her life’s work for the next 35+ years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and visitation on Friday November 9, 2018, from 10:00-11:30am at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 East First Street, Tyler, TX 75701. A graveside will follow at the Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery, 7825 S. Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations in Teresa’s memory to the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation.
