Tylerite wins Pigskin Picks eighth weekly contest

Cedric Jones of Tyler was one of at least five contestants to correctly predict the winners of all 10 games in last week’s ETFinalScore Pigskin Picks contest.
Jones finished first due to the accuracy of his prediction of the final score in last Friday’s tiebreaker game, Grace vs. Gorman. Jones predicted that Grace would win 35-7, and Grace actually won 61-0. Jones’ prediction was the most accurate guess among the top five finishers, according to the computer algorithm that breaks ties in the Pigskin Picks contest.
Finishing second through fifth, respectively, were David Gardner of Winnsboro, Gerald Meurer of Lindale, Brian Burrow of Tyler and Diane Newman of Winona. While they all picked Grace to beat Gorman, their scores were not as close as Jones’.
