The Fanchon Gilliam Liver Awareness Golf Tournament

BULLARD — October is Liver Awareness Month, and in an effort to raise funds to help those in the local community affected by liver disease, The Fanchon Gilliam Liver Awareness Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 19, at Oak Hurst Golf Course.

Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.



Luncheon speakers will include Machelle McDow, RN of Digestive Specialist of Tyler, and Pam Morris, RN from Longview, who will speak on the importance of being an organ donor.

The Fanchon Gilliam Liver Awareness Foundation is a non-profit organization created to help those in the East Texas area with expenses while undergoing treatment for liver disease.
