The Steers (11-12 in Red River Athletic Conference) are in the sixth spot, and can move to fifth with a three-game sweep over Southwest (7-17), coupled with a three-game sweep by No. 4 Northwood (21-3) over Jarvis Christian (14-9).

The RRAC tournament runs from April 27-30 at LSU-Shreveport in Louisiana.
