Robin Ballard wins Peach Tree Men’s Club Golf Championship title for seventh time

BULLARD — Robin Ballard pulled a double-double on Sunday. Plus it was lucky No. 7 for the former SFA golfer.
Ballard won the Men’s Club Golf Championship of Peach Tree Golf Club for the seventh time.
Playing on the Oak Hurst Golf Course, Ballard also won the Senior Club Championship.
Donna Skidmore captured the Ladies Club Championship.
Ballard won his titles with a 36-hole score of 143 with rounds of 71 and 72.
Kerry Baham was second with 147 (72-75).
Skidmore won her crown with a 180 (88-92).
Mackie Meeks took the Ladies Net title with a 151 (78-73).
Other champions were Tom McFarland in the Nicklaus Flight (70 and over). McFarland had a 154 (74-80). Tom Howell was the net champion of the Nicklaus Flight with a 140 (72-68). The Nicklaus Flight was played from the green tees.
The Watson Flight was played from the white tees for ages 50 to 69. Jim Vershaw won the gross division with a 169 (88-81). Craig Myers won the net flight with a 145 (75-70).
Vershaw also won the gross title in the First Flight and Myers won the net crown.
Charles Smart won the Second Flight with a 173 (85-88).
David McPherson took the net in the Second Flight with a 148 (74-74).
