HASLET — The Grapevine Mustangs scored a 53-31 win over the Tyler Lady Lions on Thursday in the V.R. Eaton Girls Basketball Tournament.

Mimi Margiotta led the Lady Mustangs with 17 points.

A’Niyga Hartsfield led the Lady Lions with 11 points, followed by Jay’Mariea Taylor (6), Ellyse Daye (6), Toniya Elmore (2), Kalyse Buffin (2), ShaCaria Stevenson (2) and Justtice Taylor (2).

The Lady Lions are scheduled to play Waco at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
