Bullard Brook Hill senior outside hitter Samantha Anderson earned second-team all-state honors on the TAPPS Class 4A All-State volleyball team.

Anderson led the Lady Guard to a 15-13 record as the team’s leader in kills and blocks.

In November, Anderson signed with the University of Central Arkansas.

Anderson wasn’t the only East Texan honored at the state level.

Grace Community senior outside hitter Taylor Kingsley and All Saints junior middle blocker Ferrell Clyde were named all-state honorable mention.
