Mahomes to be featured on Gruden QB Camp on ESPN

- Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a Whitehouse graduate, was one of seven QBs invited to the Gruden QB Camp series.
Patrick Mahomes will be in Orlando, Florida on Monday as part of ESPN’s annual Jon Gruden QB Camps series. The Whitehouse native and Texas Tech quarterback was one of seven invited to the series, which is set at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
Gruden spends time separately with each quarterback, breaking down video before working out on the field. Excerpts of Mahomes’ visit will be shown on Monday SportsCenter, NFL Live and other selected ESPN shows.
Also featured this year are Clemson’s Deshaun Watson, Tennessee’s Josh Dobbs, Miami’s Brad Kaaya, Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer, Pittsburgh’s Nathan Peterman and North Carolina’s Mitch Trubisky.
New episodes of Gruden’s QB Camp begin Tuesday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2 with additional shows airing across multiple ESPN networks and ABC leading up the 2017 NFL Draft, including the Best of Gruden’s QB Camp on Thursday, April 13 on ESPN.
