Grace Community opens play in the TAPPS 4A basketball playoffs today with a bi-district playoff against El Paso Lydia.

The tip is slated for 6 p.m. at Lubbock Trinity High School.

The Cougars qualified as the fourth seed from TAPPS 2-4A while Lydia is independent.

The winner of today’s game takes on TAPPS 1-4A champ Lubbock Trinity on Saturday in the area round.
