Ja’Kayla Bowie led the Tyler Lee Lady Raiders to 28 wins and the third round of the playoffs.

Bowie’s efforts helped her earn Co-Most Valuable Player honors in District 11-6A girls basketball with Rockwall’s Faith Mason-Vestal.

Joining Bowie on the first team from Lee were sophomores Aaliyah Morgan and Alyssia Thorne.

Keleon Grant represented John Tyler on the 11-6A first team.

Rockwall had the Defensive Player of the Year (Jordan Mathis) and the Staff of the Year (head coach Kasie Brewer).

Rockwall-Heath earned superlatives for Offensive Player of the Year (Macy Wilkerson) and Newcomer of the Year (Logyn McNeil).
