BULLARD — The Bullard Panthers made the big plays when they needed them, handing Chapel Hill their second district loss in an exciting double-overtime 42-41 win over Chapel Hill in a District 16-3A showstopper Friday at Panther Stadium.

After the Bulldogs and Panthers swapped out touchdowns and PAT kicks in the first overtime, the Bulldogs elected to go for the win on a two-point conversion throw after a touchdown run by Londreyus McCown.

Gray’s extra point made it 42-35 with Chapel Hill’s turn to answer.
