The Robert E. Lee cross country team will compete Saturday in the Class 5A Region II meet at Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie.

Senior Abby Halbrook is a four-time district champion and now looks to add state meet competitor to her resume. Halbrook finished just shy of qualifying for state last year, ending up 16th at the regional meet.

The REL girls enter as District 12-5A champs with the Lee boys qualifying by finishing third at district.
