Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Velma Reiger of Alvin, Texas; by her first husband, Thurman Leon Jeter; by her second husband Stanley Earl Krupicki; and by her two sisters Francis Thompson and Lois Reiger. Lillian is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Bryan of El Paso, TX and Laura Bryan and her husband Phillip of Ava, MO; 5 grandchildren, Seth, Matthew, Liam, Aidan and Daniel; and 6 great grandchildren. Lillian, the youngest daughter of Charlie and Velma Reiger, was raised as a Christian, and grew up during the Great Depression/WWII watching bombers fly over her home from the roof of the family milking barn. She was married to her first husband, Staff Sgt Thurman Leon Jeter, originally from Lindale, Texas, on May 4, 1954 in Alvin, Texas. They had one daughter, Joyce Evelyn Jeter, born on January 24, 1956. Leon was fatally injured in an automobile accident on Oct 31, 1957 and passed on Nov 11, 1957. Lillian and her young daughter were in the car with Leon, and both escaped with only minor injuries. After Leon’s death, Lillian entered entrepreneurship with several business endeavors while working full time as a secretary at Amoco Oil – a departure for the 1950s single mom! This defined who Lillian was. A hard-working woman who could do anything. While employed at Amoco Oil, Lillian met Stanley Krupicki, whom she would eventually marry on December 29, 1962 in Friendswood, Texas. Lillian and Stanley were married for over 45 years, and were blessed with a daughter, Laura Ann on November 16, 1965. Lillian resided in Tyler with her family for 49 years and attended Marvin United Methodist Church until she moved to El Paso, Texas due to declining health. Lillian had many interests, she fostered neighborhood gatherings, cultivated flowers in her backyard, watched and fed the birds and squirrels in her yard and of course actively cared for her husband and family. She was a voracious storyteller and possessed a memory that allowed her to convey the smallest of details as she recalled and shared stories from her past to all who would listen. We will all miss Lillian dearly, we will miss her stories, her determination, and her drive for life: wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Rest in peace, we love you!
