Funeral Services for Floyd L. Moseley, age 79 of Tyler, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Central Baptist Church in Lindale, TX with Pastor Byron Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Dover Cemetery in Carroll, TX under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Floyd passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at his home in Carroll, TX. He was born July 10, 1939 in Carroll, TX to the late Floyd and Margaret Irene (Waters) Moseley. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Carroll, served his country in the United Stated Air Force, and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Lindale. He was a music enthusiast playing a number of different instruments and was lovingly known as, a jack of all trades and master of all. After 34 years of service with the Tyler Fire Department he retired as a driver and engineer. He is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Milton Moseley and a sister, Virginia Irene McCranie. Floyd is survived by wife, Claudia Vanoy Moseley of Tyler; daughter, DelMarie Snyder and husband, Harold of Tyler; son, Floyd Neal Moseley and wife, Dava of Tyler; stepchildren, Gary Lynn Stewart and wife, Sandy of Tyler, Don Kevin Stewart of Whitehouse, Dean Stewart and wife, Chris of Tyler, Darin Stewart of Tyler; and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be retired Fire Department Chiefs Tim Johnson, Les Schminkey, Danny Bristow, Ron Caldwell, Tom West, and Neal Franklin. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
