Barbara Jean Bailey O’Hara
TYLER — Barbara Jean Bailey O’Hara, 81, of Tyler, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 8, 2020.
Family visitation will be held Saturday February 15 at 11:00 am with a Celebration of her life 12:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church in New Chapel Hill, officiated by Pastor Mike Ford.
Mrs. O’Hara was born June 1, 1938 in Sweetwater, IL. She was an avid church goer for all her life. She enjoyed playing the piano in church for many years. Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed garage selling, thrifting, and working at a local food pantry.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Bill O’Hara, and her son Billy O’Hara. Parents Elbert and Retha Bailey, sisters Gladys Stanley and Nancy Bergeron.
Survivors include: children Rick and Jody O’Hara of Lincoln, IL, Dennis O’Hara of Tyler, Kevin and Kathy O’Hara of Van, Barbie and Kent Powers of Arp, Tim and Dell O’Hara of Tyler, Gayla and Richard Rowe of Tyler. Grandchildren Rick O’Hara, Brian O’Hara, Aaron O’Hara, Caitlyn Williams, Hailey Williams, Sean O’Hara, Josh O’Hara, Jeremy O’Hara, Justin O’Hara, Ryne O’Hara, Dustin Motes, Conner Kline, Katie Kline, Michelle Conine-McLeod, Caleb Conine, Emily Willenborg, Neil O’Hara, Eric O’Hara, Zach Prater, Nicholas Rowe & Alice Harris. Brothers Bill Bailey of Riverton, IL, and Mike Bailey of Longview. She also had 25 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.
