IRVING, Texas (AP) - A 2.4 magnitude earthquake has hit the Dallas area in the midst of stormy weather.
The U.S. Geological Survey confirms that the small quake rattled Irving near the old Texas stadium at 9:09 p.m. Sunday.
The Dallas Morning News reports that this temblor was about the Dallas area's 88th in the past year. The most recent one beforehand was a 2.2 magnitude earthquake Nov. 3.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the quake was felt in Irving and Dallas.
