Panola County Sheriff’s Office searching for Tyler man

The Panola County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Camp Pirtle Boy Scout Camp staff member who was last seen around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
Robert Maxim Mayfield, 26, of Tyler was last seen wearing gray shorts, either a blue or gray t-shirt, black framed glasses and unknown shoes.
The sheriff’s office was notified around 2 p.m., after camp staff had searched the grounds for several hours
Mayfield’s belongings appeared to be packed in order to leave, but were left in his tent, the sheriff’s office said, and he took his prescription medications with him.
Mayfield not have a vehicle and has not contacted any family or friends, the sheriff’s office said.
