Professional actor and stuntman Jason Ament will present a master class at 2:30 p.m. today in Jean Browne Theatre at Tyler Junior College.
The e-vent is free and open to the public.
Ament, a native of Jacksonville, has more than 17 years of experience in film, television and theater.
Some of his credits include “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” “True Detective,” “American Horror Story: Coven,” and “Twelve Years A Slave.”
“You can see from Jason’s extensive bio that he has rubbed elbows with some pretty impressive people, and our students could learn a lot from his experiences,” said TJC speech professor Angela Porter, in a statement released by TJC.
In March, he will begin work on “The Free State of Jones” with Academy Award-winner and fellow East Texan Matthew McConaughey.
