A 21-year-old Tyler woman was arrested early Thursday morning on the campus of Tyler Junior College after she allegedly stabbed a student during an argument in a campus parking lot.
Nakearaney Domineke Reese was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after TJC police and the Tyler Police Department were called to the main campus, where the altercation occurred between a student and Reese, according to a news release from the college.
The news release said the women knew each other.
TJC officials said the student was taken to the hospital and treated for a stab wound that was not life-threatening.
Reese is not affiliated with TJC and also violated a criminal trespass warning issued in November 2018, according to the news release.
She was booked into the Smith County Jail shortly after 2:30 a.m. Thursday and bonded out later that day. Her bonds included $5,000 for the aggravated assault charge and $500 for the criminal trespass charge.
